Ouarzazate, known by most as the “Gateway to the Sahara,” is one of the cities that boasts historic kasbahs and filming sites for movies such as “Lawrence of Arabia” and “Gladiator.” This city hosts the Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO site recognized for its ancient architecture with mud bricks.
